Beckett Reassigned to Syracuse

Syracuse, NY (March 23, 2005) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that defenseman Jason Beckett has been reassigned to the Crunch.

Beckett, 24, appeared in 60 games with Pensacola (ECHL) this season, recording 10 goals, 16 assists and 118 penalty minutes. In two games with Syracuse this season, Beckett recorded two penalty minutes. In 231 career AHL games with Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Houston and Syracuse, Beckett has tallied 10 goals, 31 assists and 474 penalty minutes. A native of Lethbridge, Alberta, Beckett was selected by Philadelphia in the second round, 42nd overall, in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
