Seven of the nine games played on Sunday featured shutouts, including Rochester's Ryan Miller posting his league-leading eighth zero of the season in a 2-0 win over Cleveland... Neil Little (Philadelphia), Peter Budaj (Hershey), Wade Flaherty (Manitoba), Scott Clemmensen (Albany), Mathieu Garon (Manchester) and Brent Krahn (Lowell) also registered shutouts during Sunday's action.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Hamilton meet at Copps Coliseum in an intriguing interconference tilt on Wednesday night... The Penguins, currently fourth in the East Division, have not won in the Steel City since Nov. 10, 1999... The Bulldogs come in tied with Syracuse and Edmonton for fourth place in the North... Chris Higgins has 19 points (11g, 8a) in his last 15 games for Hamilton, which has won eight of its last 10 home contests... Matt Hussey has eight points in his last dozen games for the Penguins... Hamilton native Kenny Corupe has not scored in 20 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, but is 3-for-4 on shootout attempts.
Lowell heads to Hartford to take on the Wolf Pack on Wednesday night for the teams' third meeting in the last 12 days... The Pack are 3-3-1-0 in their last seven home games after going 23-3-0-1 in their first 27... Matt Lombardi made his season debut for the Lock Monsters and scored a goal in Sunday's 4-0 win over Springfield... Hartford's Steve Valiquette has stopped 115 of 118 shots in five appearances against Lowell this season (3-0-1, 0.82, .975)... The Lock Monsters have scored first in each of their six meetings with the Wolf Pack.
A likely first-round playoff preview pits St. John's against Manitoba at the MTS Centre on Thursday night... Kyle Wellwood has feasted on Moose all season, with five goals and eight assists for 13 points in six meetings so far... Peter Sarno, the OHL's scoring champion in 1998 and 1999, has set pro career highs with 55 assists and 68 points for Manitoba... The Moose have outscored their opponents, 15-3, during their current three-game winning streak... Colin Murphy, who made his pro debut with the Maple Leafs on Saturday after finishing his senior season at Michigan Tech, has been named one of 10 finalists for the 2005 Hobey Baker Award.
