Bakersfield, California - The Utah Grizzlies (10-4-2-1) defeated the Bakersfield Condors 3-2 Saturday night at Rabobank Arena to win their third-straight game.

"It's a big win on the road before a nearly sellout crowd," said Grizzlies Head Coach Kevin Colley. "Lamoureux was outstanding once again for us. We made a few mistakes and allowed a few goals late, but it's good to win."

Utah built a 2-0 lead with two goals in 3:17 at 7:47 and 11:04 of the first period. Brock Wilson fired a touch angled shot from the left circle to put Utah up 1-0. Marcus Carroll made it 2-0 as he blasted one from the left wing circle. Nick Tuzzolino and Ric Jackman picked up assists.

Utah made it 3-0 with a Tyler Ruegsegger (3) power-play goal setup from behind the net by Brent Gauvreau. Nick Tuzzolino made it a multiple-point game with his second assist on the score.

Utah goaltender J.P. Lamoureux started the game with 15 first period saves and stopped 15 of 17 shots in the third to earn the win. He stopped 40 of 42 shots overall in the game.

Utah completes their four-game in five-night California road trip Sunday in Ontario. Face-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. The Grizzlies return home Thursday with Las Vegas and Friday and Saturday with Ontario. Face-off all three nights is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
