November 8, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Utah Grizzlies News Release

West Valley City - The Utah Grizzlies will look to continue the offensive fireworks they displayed last night against Houston when they meet the Aeros again at the E-Center tonight. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 pm. Souvenir pucks will be given out to the first 2,000 fans courtesy of Valley Fair Mall.

Utah improved to 3-5-1-2 with Friday's 6-1 routing of the Aeros. The Grizzlies scored three goals in the first period in Friday's contest, more goals than they had previously scored in an entire game. Jarrod Skalde and Jeff MacMillan led the scoring, each with a goal and two assists. David Gove added a goal and an assist.

Houston (3-6-1-0) hopes to regroup after allowing 14 goals in their last two games and losing their last three straight.. The Aeros, who are 0-2 against Utah on the season, actually outshot Utah 39-31 Friday. However, Grizzlies netminder Jason Bacashihua came up big, stopping 38 shots and earning his first win of the year.

Utah completes their four-game home stand tonight. The Grizzlies will head back on the road for one game against the San Antonio Rampage before beginning another four straight games at the E-Center. The Grizzlies meet the Rampage Sunday night at the SBC Center with a 5:00 pm (mst) face-off.
