BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads shutout the Cincinnati Cyclones 1-0, and record their first back-to-back shutouts in franchise history. Goaltender Blair Allison stopped 33 Cincinnati attempts improving his record to 4-1-0 on the season. Though Cyclones goaltender Randy Petruk deterred 26 Idaho shots, his team couldn't get a point on the board, leaving an unassisted goal as the only point in the game.

The lone goal came with 1:32 left in the first period. Jan Kopecky scored on a breakaway when he got past defenseman Derrick Byfuglien and beat Cyclones the netminder with a backhander. .

A puck slipped by Allison midway through the third period and gave Cincinnati a little hope, but it was disallowed as it had gone in off of a Cyclones' skate.

Idaho's next opponent will be the Alaska Aces on November 15th and 16th at the Bank of America Centre for the first meeting between the two teams this season.
