Utah Grizzlies News Release
West Valley City - The Utah Grizzlies will meet the Chicago Wolves tonight at the 'E' Center for the second of the two-game series. The Grizzlies will try to build on their aggressive play on Friday and avoid a fifth consecutive loss. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 pm (mst) and the game will be broadcast live on Utah's UPN Z-24 TV.
Utah (14-24-4-3) took some steps forward in Friday's loss. The Grizzlies are only the second team to hold the Wolves to two goals since Milwaukee succeeded on Dec. 20. Also, the Grizzlies scored for the first time in nearly eight periods of play in the 2-1 decision. And for the first time in six tries, the Grizzlies were not outshot by their opponent (the teams were even at 26).
Chicago (22-14-6-3) looks for their fourth straight win tonight with the help of players like Stephen Baby who, after last night's game winner, has recorded two goals and four assists in his last five games.
After tonight's contest, the Grizzlies will host the division leading Grand Rapids Griffins in a two-game series at the 'E' Center next weekend.
