Loveland, Colorado - The Utah Grizzlies (8-2) defeated the Colorado Eagles 2-1 Wednesday night at the Budweiser Events Center.

For the fourth time this year, Grizzlies goaltender Andrew Engelage (7-2) took a shutout into the final five minutes in a Grizzlies victory.

Andrew Favot gave Utah a 1-0 lead 7:50 into the contest as he knocked home a puck held in by Riley Emmerson.

In the second period, Utah killed five penalties, including a five-on-three for nearly a minute late in the frame to hold a 1-0 first intermission lead.

Jeff LoVecchio gave Utah a 2-0 third period lead as he redirected home a Nick Tuzzolino blast in the high-slot. Mitch Fadden picked up the second assist.

Engelage stopped 32 of 33 in the game as Colorado scored a power-play goal with 4:08 left in regulation to break the perfection.

The Grizzlies killed a penalty in the final 16 seconds as the Eagles went up six-on-four.

The Grizzlies return home Friday to host Colorado for 11/11/11. All tickets will be available for $11 at the Maverik Center box office. Saturday, there will be a free post-game skate with the team. Skate rental is $2.
