Griffins celebrate 10th anniversary opening night

Time: 7:00 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6:00 p.m.).

Prices: $5 (advance purchase only), $13, $15, $17, $20 and $25.

Giveaways: * The first 3,000 fans will receive a Commemorative 10th Anniversary Poster, courtesy of Comcast.

* 1,500 Thunderstix will be distributed, courtesy of Uno Chicago Grill.

Pre-Game Fireworks: A special pre-game fireworks show will kick off the new season.

Throw for Dough: Lake Michigan Credit Union offers fans the opportunity to win up to $5,000. Throughout the night, fans can purchase blue balls for $1 and green balls for $3 apiece. At the conclusion of the game, fans can throw their balls at a target at center ice for a chance to win up to $5,000. Proceeds from the event will benefit the National Guard 1073rd Maintenance Company from Greenville.

The Happy Trumpeter: He's back! Claude, the Happy Trumpeter returns to Van Andel Arena for the first time in seven years to fire up the crowd with his wild antics.

The Gentlemen Jugglers: Fans will be entertained by an intermission performance by this popular duo. $10,000 Shot: Three lucky fans will be chosen for the chance to participate in an on-ice contest for the chance to win $10,000, courtesy of Arbor Mortgage.

Whole Hog Shootout: One lucky fan will be chosen to shoot a half-ice shot through a hole in the net for a brand new Harley Davidson Motorcycle, courtesy of Wild Boar Harley Davidson.

Post-Game Autographs: Griffins players will sign autographs in the stands for 15 minutes during the Fox Motors Post-Game Autograph Session

Post-Game Skate: Fans can skate around the Van Andel Arena ice for 45 minutes after the game.
