
Greenville Tops Legends, 3-1

(GREENVILLE, S.C.) Carlos Asuaje drove in all three Greenville runs as the Drive took a 3-1 win over the Lexington Legends Tuesday night.
Greenville broke through with two runs in the sixth inning. With two outs and the bases empty, Jimmy Rider singled and moved to third on a ground-rule double by Jantzen Witte. After Jose Rodriguez relieved starter Luke Farrell, Asuaje doubled to center field, scoring Rider and Witte.
The Legends came back with a run in the seventh. Dominique Taylor led off with a single and, with one out, moved to third on a double to right field by Fred Ford. Taylor scored on a ground out by Dex Kjerstad.
The Drive added an insurance run in the eighth inning. Forrestt Allday led off with a double. He went to third on a passed ball and scored on Asuaje's single.
Jacob Dahlstrand (4-3), who relieved starter Trey Ball at the start of the sixth inning, picked up the win.
Farrell (1-4) was the losing pitcher.
The Drive have taken the first two games of the series, which concludes Wednesday. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
