GREENSBORO, NC - The Greensboro Grasshoppers cordially invite you to attend a red-carpet celebration of the Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - presented by Twinings Tea.
The Grasshoppers' 7:00 PM game - 6:00 PM gates open - against the Lakewood BlueClaws is the official site of the stateside wedding reception, guests attending will be treated to:
FIRST 1,000 guests will receive a limited addition bobblehead of the Royal Couple
Exit sampling of Twinings Tea
Royal Guards welcoming the guests
Chimes of Big Ben ringing will announce each inning
Singing of our traditional Star-Spangled Banner and the playing of God Save the Queen
A mini Wedding Expo on the concourse
High Tea served in the fourth inning
Entertainment from the Jamestown Pipe and Drum
Guests will also enjoy our Spectacular Saturday fireworks presented by Cone Health, a show that always lights up the Greensboro sky and would bring a smile to the face of even a Royal Guard. After the game, fans will be asked to kindly "Brexit" the celebration.
As we prepare for our MAY 19th Royal Celebration, we encourage couples interested in royal treatment during the game, to submit a picture with a description that best describes why you should be considered the "Royal Couple" of the game. Submissions should be sent via email ONLY to: mary@gsohoppers.com Submissions MUST BE received NO LATER than Monday, May 7th by 5:00 pm.
The winning Royal Couple will be treated to a Hoppin' Fun experience and gift package during the May 19th Grasshoppers vs BlueClaws game.
