Behind a 14-hit attack, the Augusta GreenJackets recorded their second straight win over the Lexington Legends with a 9-5 victory Tuesday night at Applebee's Park.

Augusta scored twice in the first inning. Evan Crawford singled, stole second and came home on a double by Nick Liles. Liles went to third on a fly ball to center field by Ryan Cavan, and scored on an infield out.

The Legends got one run back in the bottom of the third inning. With one out, Jose Altuve singled to center field and Grant Hogue beat out a bunt for a hit. A double steal moved the runners to second and third, and Altuve scored on a sacrifice fly by Jake Goebbert.

In the top of the fifth, Ryan Lollis and Ydwin Villegas reached on back-to-back hits. With one out, Liles walked to load the bases. Cavan lined a triple down the right field line, scoring three runs and giving Augusta a 5-1 lead. After Wander Alvino relieved starter Tanner Bushue for Lexington, former University of Louisville star Chris Dominguez doubled to score Cavan.

Augusta scored a run in the seventh on two singles, a walk and a wild pitch to take a 7-1 lead, but the Legends rallied in the bottom of the seventh. With one out, Jordan Comadena lined a 3-2 pitch over the wall in left field for his first home run as a professional player. Singles by Brian Kemp and Altuve and a walk to Hogue loaded the bases, and Goebbert cleared them with a three-run double to right field to make the score 7-5.

Liles' RBI double in the eighth made it 8-5, and Tommy Joseph hit a solo homer in the ninth to close out the scoring.

Augusta starter Craig Clark (1-1) worked six and one-third innings and got the win. Bushue (4-5) took the loss.

The GreenJackets have taken two out of three in the series, which concludes Wednesday with a 12:05 p.m. game at Applebee's Park.
