Golden State Warriors Recall Guard Jacob Evans III from Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors announced today that guard Jacob Evans III has been recalled from the Santa Cruz Warriors, the team's NBA G League affiliate.

Evans III (6'6, 210) has appeared in 16 games (11 starts) with the Santa Cruz Warriors this season, averaging 11.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and, 2.5 assists in 26.5 minutes per game.

The first-year guard from the University of Cincinnati, who was selected with the 28th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, has appeared in 23 games with Golden State this season, averaging 0.6 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 4.3 minutes per game.

The Santa Cruz Warriors tip-off against the Salt Lake City Stars, the NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, tonight at 6:00 p.m. PST (stream on Facebook Live). The team will return to the Bay Area to host the Oklahoma City Blue on Sunday, February 24 at Oracle Arena, the home of the back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors.
