FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends have acquired forward Billy Preston in a trade with the Erie Bayhawks. In exchange, Texas sends the returning player rights to Codi Miller-McIntyre.
Preston (6-10, 230, Kansas) was acquired by Erie in a trade with the Canton Charge on Dec. 16, seeing action in six games with the Bayhawks and averaging 3.0 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 7.1 minutes. The rookie played 10 games with the Charge averaging 6.1 points, 3.8 rebounds in 18.1 minutes. After one season with the Jayhawks Preston joined BC Igokea in the Adriatic League averaging 7.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and winning the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup.
