Goaltender Brandon Anderson Reassigned to Hershey

HERSHEY, Pa. - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that goaltender Brandon Anderson has been reassigned from the ECHL's Reading Royals. The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.

Anderson, 20, has made 15 appearances in the Royals net. He has posted a record of 8-6-1, a goals-against average of 3.05 and save percentage of .880 while registering two shutouts.

The 6-1, 184-pound native of Langley, BC joined HERSHEY late in the 2011-12 regular season but did not appear in a game. He finished the final season of his WHL junior career with the Brandon Wheat Kings, after starting 2011-12 and spending the three previous years with the Lethbridge Hurricanes. In 138 career games in the WHL, Anderson has a record of 44-62-17.

HERSHEY will take to the road to face the Albany Devils at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall today at 4:00 PM. The BEARS' next home game is set for Saturday, March 2 at 7:00 PM against the Norfolk Admirals.
