Giants Lose 5-2 to the Broncos

Swift Current, SK - The Swift Current Broncos scored three goals in the third period en route to a 5-2 win over the Vancouver Giants Saturday night at the Credit Union I-Plex.

Zac Mackay scored 1:20 into the third period to break a two-all tie for the Broncos.

Joel Hamilton opened the scoring in the first period with his second in as many games.

Andreas Eder had the other Vancouver goal.

Dalton Thrower had two assists and was named second star of the game.

Jared Rathjen made 28 saves for the Giants.

The loss ends the Giants' 6-game prairie road trip and extends Vancouver's winless streak to eight games.
