Vancouver, B.C. - Friday night at the Langley Events Centre in front of 3001 in attendance, the Vancouver Giants (7-6-1-0) fell 4-1 to the visiting Everett Silvertips (13-0-0-1). Alex Swetlikoff paced the Silvertips attack with two assists and four different goal scorers helped lift Everett to their seventh straight win. The Giants got their lone goal from Adam Hall and 21 saves from Jesper Vikman in what ended up as their third straight defeat.
1st Period
EVT - 10:59 into the game, defenceman Aidan Sutter (1) put Everett up 1-0 off a shot from the point off an Alex Swetlikoff faceoff victory.
Shots: 9-5 Silvertips
2nd Period
EVT - Rookie Matthew Ng extended Everett's lead at 3:45 of the middle-frame off a three-way passing play that also involved Beau Courtney and Roan Woodward. Ng one-timed Courtney's feed past Jesper Vikman off a failed Giants clearing attempt from their own zone.
VAN - Adam Hall grabbed the game's lone goal for Vancouver at 8:02. Hall parked himself in front of the Everett goal and redirected a Payton Mount feed off his backhand and in for his team-leading eighth goal. Justin Sourdif earned the second assist.

3rd Period
EVT - With time winding down in the game, Olen Zellweger put Everett back up by two goals at 15:27. Zellweger's fourth of the season came off the rush off a slap-shot from just inside the Giants blueline. Dylan Anderson snagged the lone helper.
EVT - Austin Roest sealed the victory for Everett with an empty-net goal at 19:59. Alex Swetlikoff and Jackson Berezowski both earned the assists on Roest's fourth goal of the campaign.
