West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies have announced that actor Gary Coleman has accepted the team's invitation to drop the ceremonial first puck prior to Monday's game against the Las Vegas Wranglers. Face-off at the E-Center is scheduled for 7 p.m.

"We are elated that Mr. Coleman has accepted our invitation," said Grizzlies Vice President of Communications and Broadcasting Adrian Denny. "We met with two members of his family Friday at the E-Center to go over plans for the evening and if his health holds up and he is feeling well Monday then we are a go."

Coleman best known for his work in the television show Diff'rent Strokes is a resident of Utah County and plans to attend the game with his wife Shannon, her family and their friends.

The Grizzlies drew a seven-year high of 10,020 fans to the E-Center Friday and capped off the weekend with 7,043 returning Saturday. The team looks to continue the excitement Monday as they complete a six-game home stand and go for two out of three wins against Las Vegas.
