The Elmira Jackals will try to make it five straight wins, hosting the Toledo Walleye at First Arena at 4:05 p.m.
On Saturday night, the Jackals completed the season sweep of the Gwinnett Gladiators, prevailing in a back-and-forth battle that saw the Jackals score four third-period goals en route to a 7-5 victory. 4,056 fans attended the game for Elmira's league-leading ninth sellout of 2009-2010.
It was the fourth straight game in which the Jackals scored at least seven goals. During that time, the Jackals have outscored their opponents 30-10. The first two games of that stretch came against the Walleye in Toledo, Ohio on Jan. 22 and 23, as Elmira had a weekend sweep of Toledo by a combined score of 15-4.
The Jackals come into the game trailing the Reading Royals by two points for first place in the American East Division.

In three games against the Gladiators this season, Justin Donati had eight goals, averaging just under a hat trick. The Jackals scored 26 goals against the Gladiators in three games this season, while allowing only nine.
JACKALS ON A WINNING STREAK
Elmira has won four straight games for the first time since its seven-game winning streak to begin the season. Dating back to Dec. 20, the Jackals have won 11 of 16 games, going 11-5-0-0 in that stretch.
MONTHLY AWARDS POSSIBLE
Yannick Tifu comes into the final game of January tied for the league lead in the first month of 2010 with 22 points with Idaho's Mark Derlago. Tifu leads the ECHL in January with 17 assists and will factor into the discussion for the Reebok Hockey ECHL Player of the Month Award for January. Since Nov. 20, Tifu's first game with the Jackals, he leads the league with 44 points and 31 assists.
Mat Robinson and Brennan Turner come in first and third in the ECHL, respectively, in plus-minus in January. Robinson is tied for the league lead in 2010 with a +12 with fellow rookie defenseman Anthony Aiello of Stockton, while Turner has a +11. The ECHL's leader in plus-minus for each month is named the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month.
HOME SUCCESS
The Jackals have won four straight games at First Arena, and own the American Conference's second best home winning percentage at.711, just.003 behind the Charlotte Checkers. Elmira has played the fewest home games in the conference as of this point.
