Charlotte Checkers (23-15-5) at Johnstown Chiefs (11-24-8) 2:05 p.m. ET
- Johnstown's Chanse Fitzpatrick has five goals and eight points in his last six games.
- Charlotte's Daniel Tkaczuk has 10 assists and 12 points in his last nine games.
- Chiefs' Chris Zarb has a four-game point streak (2g-4a) and 10 points (3g-7a) in his last seven games.
- Checkers' Aaron Slattengren has four goals and five points in his last four games.

South Carolina Stingrays (30-11-8) at Wheeling Nailers (24-18-3) 3:05 p.m. ET
- Mitch Ganzak leads the Nailers against South Carolina with four assists and five points in five games.
- Gregg Johnson leads the Stingrays in January with 11 assists in 12 games.
- Nailers have won the last three meetings to improve to 3-2-0 in season series with South Carolina.
- South Carolina is 15-3-8 in one-goal games including 3-4 in overtime and 3-4 in shootouts.

Toledo Walleye (24-16-4) at Elmira Jackals (22-17-4) 4:05 p.m. ET
- Elmira rookie Keegan Dansereau has a six-game assist streak (8a) and a six-game point streak (5g-8a).
- Walleye are third in the league on the power play with 21.2 percent (53-for-250).

- Gladiators' Danny Taylor is 1-0-0 with a goals-against average of 1.00 against Reading.
- Reading is 14-2-4 in one-goal games including 2-1 in overtime and 3-3 in shootouts.

Alaska Aces (20-20-4) at Stockton Thunder (19-17-7) 4 p.m. PT

Idaho Steelheads (29-11-2) at Ontario Reign (17-20-7) 5 p.m. PT
- Ontario's Curtis Darling is 2-1-0 with a goals-against average of 2.27 against Idaho.
- Steelheads' Mark Derlago has an eight-game point streak (7g-14a).
- Reign's Tony Voce has four goals and six points in his last five games.
- Idaho rookie Evan Barlow has a seven-game point streak (9g-8a) and a three-game goal streak (6g).
