Game Tonight Postponed; Giveaway and Kandu Party Rescheduled

With the past few days of hard rains hitting Southern Wisconsin the game between the Beloit Snappers and the Burlington Bees, scheduled for Friday, August 28th, has been postponed due to weather and field conditions. Scheduled promotions for tonight included fireworks sponsored by Kandu Industries and an Autographed Ball Giveaway courtesy of The Italian House in Janesville.
The Kandu Appreciation Party which was also scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. Please contact Kandu Industries at 608-755-4123 ext. 308 for exciting rescheduling information. Kandu Industries will be sponsoring the post-game fireworks show on Saturday, September 5th. The game will begin at 7:00pm and is also Bear/Packer Day at Pohlman Field, with the biggest Bear fan and biggest Packer fan winning their teams respective jerseys.
The Autographed Ball Giveaway, thanks to The Italian House in Janesville, has been rescheduled for Monday, August 31st as the Snappers take on the Burlington Bees with first pitch coming at 7:00pm. The first 500 fans through the gates receive a mystery autographed baseball. Autographs include Hall Of Famer Paul Molitor, former Twins manager Tom Kelly, current Brewers starter Manny Parra, former Snappers manager Don Money, Snapper centerfielder and current Twins top prospect Aaron Hicks, and members of the 2009 Beloit Snappers.
Tonight's cancelled game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader with the Burlington Bees on Sunday, August 30th. The teams will be play two 7-inning games starting at 2:00pm. Sunday is also Kyle Weaver Bobblehead Day, as the first 500 fans through the gate will receive a wristband good for one bobblehead of the former Beloit Memorial High School and current Oklahoma City Thunder basketball star. Gates open up at 1:00pm.
