The Solar Bears return to the Amway Center tonight after playing their last nine contests on the road. The road trip concluded on Saturday in South Carolina, where Orlando and the South Carolina Stingrays traded goals through the first two periods, with the Stingrays holding a 3-2 lead going into the third. D Bryce Aneloski then tied the game at 3-3 with his third strike of the game early in the third, forcing the game into overtime. After neither team was able to score in the sudden death period, the game moved into a shootout where F Mickey Lang and F Jacob Cepis each scored for the Solar Bears and G Maxime Clermont stopped four of the five shots he faced to give Orlando the 4-3 victory. The Cyclones were also last in action on Saturday night, taking a 4-1 victory over the Elmira Jackals. The Jackals got on the board first in the game, but Cincinnati answered back less than two minutes later and then grabbed a 2-1 lead with just one second left in the first period. The Cyclones tacked on two goals in the third for the final 4-1 score. Orlando and Cincinnati have faced each other just one time this season, with the Solar Bears earning a 4-2 win in Cincinnati on November 13.
