Condors Can't Hold on against Alaska

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors (30-29-2-3, 65pts) jumped out to a 2-0 lead over the Alaska Aces (42-17-3-3, 90pts), but couldn't hold on, and eventually fell 4-2 Tuesday night at Rabobank Arena.

1st Period

CONDORS goal: RW Jordan Knackstedt (17th) wrist shot from between the circles, off a feed from F Nick MacNeil (Hughes also assisted) at 5:41; BAK leads, 1-0CONDORS goal: D Erik Burgdoerfer (11th) with a wrist shot from the right point (Schaber, Carroll assist); BAK leads, 2-0 Shots: BAK - 7 | AK - 7

Aces goal: F Andy Taranto with a goal that pinballed around from behind the goal line to the back of the net at 4:30; BAK leads, 2-1Aces goal: LW Brett Findlay on a partial breakaway at 14:26; tied 2-2Aces goal: Findlay with his second of the period from the top of the slot, with a shot that finds the top left corner of the net at 16:45; AK leads, 3-2 Shots: BAK - 10 | AK - 17
