Stingrays Present Pink in the Rink Donations Check to Susan G. Komen Tonight

North Charleston, S.C. - South Carolina Stingrays President Rob Concannon will present a check of over $21,000 to help fight breast cancer to Susan G. Komen Lowcountry tonight at their Board of Directors meeting at The Citadel. The funds were generated during the team's Eighth Annual Pink in the Rink presented by East Cooper Medical Center last February.

Funds were created through the team's ticket sales, exclusive Pink Pack sales, Pink in the Rink merchandise sales, silent auction and the postgame jersey auction. In the eight-year history of the event, the Stingrays donated over $187,000 to fight breast cancer in the Lowcountry.
