
Game Preview: Ontario Reign Vs. Utah Grizzlies

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP Tonight's game is the fifth time the Ontario Reign and the Utah Grizzlies will face-off in the 2008-2009 season. The Reign hold a 1-1-1-1 record against Utah, with the Grizzlies taking a, 4-3, in overtime in the teams' last match-up at Citizens Business Bank Arena on January 16. Reign Captain Jon Francisco leads the Reign against the Grizzlies with five points (3g, 2a) after tying his season-high points in a game (3) on January 16 with two goals and one assist against Utah. Left wing Ryan Kinasewich leads the Grizzlies in points against the Reign with seven (1g, 6a). The teams are scheduled to meet once more this season at Citizens Business Bank Arena on March 6.
Ontario currently ranks first in the Pacific Division standings, posting an overall record of 20-14-2-1 (43 points), eight points ahead of the Las Vegas Wranglers and the Stockton Thunder (35 points) for second. The Reign are 10-7-2-0 in home games and 10-7-0-1 on the road. Utah ranks fourth place in the West Division standings, with an overall record of 15-14-4-3 (37 points).
Notes: Prior to the Reign vs. Grizzles game, the Reign will host the Ontario Fire Department versus the New York Fire Department in a charity match-up benefitting the Muscular Dystrophy Fund and CCHS.
NEXT GAME Saturday, January 24 - The Reign travel to Bakersfield to face-off against the Condors at Rabobank Arena. Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m.

REIGN DROPS Join the Reign as they bring the Fire to the Ice on Saturday, January 17, at Citizens Business Bank Arena. The Ontario Fire Department will take on the New York Fire Department in a charity match-up at 3 p.m. prior to the Reign vs. Grizzlies game at 7 p.m. Fans have a chance to win an autographed New York Fire jersey and a 52-inch LCD TV!
