Pohl Reassigned To Johnstown

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets, and the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters and Syracuse Crunch, announced today that forward Petr Pohl has been reassigned to Johnstown by Columbus from Syracuse.

Pohl returns to Johnstown after appearing in six games with the Crunch, tallying one goal and two assists. It was the third time Pohl has skated for Syracuse, playing one game in 2006-07 and two games last season.

Prior to being called up, Pohl played in 28 games for the Chiefs, scoring 12 goals and 18 assists. He returns to the Chiefs second on the team in scoring, one point behind newly-acquired Jarrett Konkle.

Mark your calendars, the Chiefs are back on home ice on Saturday, January 17. Johnstown will be hosting AmeriServ Sellout Challenge No. 2.
