TONIGHT'S MATCHUP Tonight's game is the seventh time the Ontario Reign and the Phoenix RoadRunners will face-off in the 2008-2009 season. The Reign hold a 5-1-0-0 record against Phoenix, with the Reign picking up the win, 2-1, in the last match on February 3 in Phoenix, AZ. Right wing Geoff Walker lead the Reign in points against the RoadRunners with 5 (2g, 3a). Phoenix right wing Ashton Rome leads the RoadRunners in points against the Reign with 4 (3g, 1a). The teams are scheduled to meet for three more games this season, with one at US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ and two at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
Ontario currently ranks first in the Pacific Division standings, posting an overall record of 28-19-3-1 (60 points), two points ahead of the Las Vegas Wranglers (58 points) for second. The Reign is 15-9-2-0 in home games and 13-10-1-1 on the road. Phoenix ranks fifth place in the West Division standings, posting an overall record of 22-23-1-2 (47 points).
