November 13, 2021 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Guelph Storm News Release
The Storm head to Owen Sound to take on the Attack for the second game of the weekend. The puck drops at 7:30pm.
The Storm are coming off another win, this time with a 4-3 win against the Erie Otters. With the win last night, the Storm are now on a 3-game win streak and have a record of 9-5-1-0. A great night last night from Matthew Papais who scored two goals for the Storm, helped tremendously in the victory against the Otters. Heading into tonight's second half of a weekend back-to-back the Storm sit 2nd in conference standings, only 2 points back of the London Knights who are in first. The Storm will be heading to Owen Sound looking to pick up where they left off after the win last night.
The Attack are also playing in a back-to-back this weekend, they too played Friday night, where they were able to beat the Kitchener Rangers 4-2. A big win against the Rangers saw the Attack improve their record to 5-6-1-1, which has the Attack sitting in 7th in conference standings. In their last 5 games the Attack are 3-2-0-0 which includes two big wins against the Rangers. The Attack are currently on a 2-game winning streak and will be aiming to continue this streak with a win at home tonight.
