Colts Earn Third Straight Win

The Barrie Colts rebounded from their last visit to Meridian Centre by beating the IceDogs by a score of 7-4!

Anthony Tabak opened the scoring for the Colts by picking the corner for his second goal of the season, assisted by Evan Vierling & Ethan Cardwell.

Oskar Olausson left off from his last visit and picked up his team-leading 10th goal of the season, Jacob Frasca & Brandt Clarke grabbing the assists.

Nick Porco broke in on a breakaway to deke out the IceDogs goalie, giving him his second goal in back-to-back games.

Evan Vierling quickly joined in on the goal scoring party by registering his fifth goal of the season, assisted by Nathan Allensen & Anthony Tabak.

Hunter Haight opened the scoring in the third period by toe-dragging the defensive player and snapping it home for his fourth goal of the season and first-career OHL game-winning goal, Oskar Olausson picked up the assist.

Matthew Sredl helped the Colts maintain their lead with a shot from the point for his first goal of the season, assisted by Anthony Tabak & Ethan Cardwell.

Nathan Allensen sealed the game with an empty-net goal.

Anthony Tabak led all Colts skaters with three points (1 goal, 2 assists) while Allensen, Cardwell, Olausson, and Vierling all registered two points each.

The Colts are back in action and return home to take on the Peterborough Petes tomorrow night at Sadlon Arena, puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 P.M. Click here for tickets.
