Tonight...
The Saskatoon Blades look to build off back-to-back 3-1 victories, most recently over the Moose Jaw Warriors on Sunday night to take sole possession of first place in the East Division.
This is the first of four meetings between the Blades and Brandon Wheat Kings, and is also the final opponent either team has yet to see this season.
Saskatoon is the only East Division team to have an unblemished record in regulation, and one of two teams in the Eastern Conference, joining the Edmonton Oil Kings.
Head to head, Brandon edged the Blades last season, winning three out of five contests. Both squads are coming off back-to-back wins heading into this one.
Who to watch...
Blades forward Evan Patrician potted a pair of goals in Sunday night's victory, his first multi-goal performance of his career. The 19-year-old forward was acquired by the Blades at the trade deadline in January of 2020, and has three goals in five games this season.

San Jose Sharks draft pick Tristen Robins is tied with Patrician for the team-lead in goals, having scored Saskatoon's only short-handed goal of the campaign on Sunday.

New addition this season Blake Stevenson has points in three of the last four games, and leads the team with six points thus far.
Captain's Quarters...
Blades captain Chase Wouters is off to a great start in his final year in the WHL. The career-Blade has one goal and three assists this season, putting him in a tie for second in team scoring.
Wouters found his scoring touch several times against the Warriors last year, throwing three goals on the board and adding three helpers in six games.
