The Erie SeaWolves square off with the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) to conclude the series at UPMC Park...The Curve clinched the series after edging Erie 4-2 on Saturday night...Will Maddox banged home both runs for Erie to get to 26 RBIs on the season...Sergio Alcantara smacked three hits in the loss to get to 20 multi-hit games on the season...Maddox's two hits also put him at 20 multi-hit games for Erie...The SeaWolves left 11 runners on base in the two-run loss and were 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position...The SeaWolves have now dropped consecutive series for the first time since May 31 after losing to Trenton and Binghamton in consecutive series...The Wolves have also dropped six of their last 10 games...Erie is now 0-7 in Saturday games at UPMC Park...The SeaWolves out hit the Curve 11-9 despite losing the contest...Beau Burrows takes the mound for Erie to make his third start against the Altoona Curve...Burrows struck out a career-high 11 batters and picked up his sixth win of the season the last time he faced the Curve...The righty struggled in his last start, only throwing a season-low 3.1 IP and allowing five runs on five hits with three walks against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies...Pedro Vasquez makes his third start against Erie...In his most recent outing, Vasquez allowed only one run on three hits in 6.0 IP in a no-decision.
