AKRON OUTLASTS BINGHAMTON...AGAIN: The RubberDucks and Rumble Ponies played into the wee hours of the Akron night for the second straight game, with Akron edging Binghamton 1-0 in 12 innings. The RubberDucks winning run crossed on a Matt Blackham wild pitch after a swinging strikeout that would've been the third out. Binghamton has dropped all three to Akron since the All-Star break.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Harol Gonzalez makes his Double-A debut just days after his Triple-A debut. The 23-year-old appeared in 13 games (12 starts) with St. Lucie (High-A) posting a 1-6 mark with a 2.82 ERA before his promotion to Las Vegas (AAA). He tossed six innings of two-run ball with the 51's, but was hit with the loss.

QUACKING THE WHIP: Akron has defeated Binghamton in eight of their nine meetings this season including a three game sweep at NYSEG Stadium on April 9 - 11.

TEBOW'S HITTING STREAK: Tim Tebow extended his hitting streak to a season-best ten games on Saturday with a double. His knock was Binghamton's only extra-base hit in the 12-inning loss. The 10-game streak is the third-longest active streak in the league.

FULL HOUSE: Saturday's loss occurred in front of 8,296 at Canal Park, the largest road crowd of the season in a Rumble Ponies game.

DÉJÀ VU: Binghamton lost extra-inning games by one run on consecutive nights. All three games in the series have been decided by just one run.

ONE-RUN FUN: Despite losing three straight one-run games, Binghamton is still over .500 in games decided by a tally (13-10).

TAYLOR'S TOUCH: RHP Corey Taylor tossed two scoreless innings in extra innings, despite the placed runner on second base in each frame. Taylor has not allowed an earned run in a season-best seven appearances, spanning 8.2 innings.

SHOW ME SOME GLOVE: After four straight errorless games, Binghamton has committed a blunder in four straight contests (5 total).

THE LONGEST GAME: One night after playing the longest game of the season in term of time (3:40), Binghamton and Akron competed in the longest game of the season in terms of innings (12). The Rumble Ponies have split their eight extra-inning games in 2018 four games apiece.

UP NEXT: Binghamton returns home to kick off a weeklong homestand against Portland and Trenton. The Rumble Ponies battle the Sea Dogs on Monday evening, with first pitch at NYSEG Stadium slated for 6:35 PM. Binghamton and Portland will play a doubleheader on Tuesday, before a 1:05 PM series finale on Wednesday.
