NEWS AND NOTES
SEEKING THE SERIES WIN : The Portland Sea Dogs have won two of three from the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate)...On Sunday, the two teams wrap-up their four-game series at Hadlock Field...Portland is seeking their third series win at home - the 'Dogs are 4-8 in series finales in Maine...Lefty Kyle Hart, who worked a perfect inning in the All-Star game, makes his second start of the season against New Hampshire.
EARLY DEFICIT...NO PROBLEM : Portland fell behind 3-0 after a 1/2 inning but held on for a 6-5 win on Saturday night...Danny Mars picked up a season-high 3 RBI, putting the 'Dogs on the board with a two-run single in the second...Mars tied the game during a two-run sixth with a sacrifice fly...Jordan Betts gave Portland the lead for good with a sacrifice fly...Matthew Gorst worked three scoreless innings to earn his first Double-A win.
