LAST GAME: 5-4 SOL vs Moose Jaw Warriors: It was a back and forth affair between the Warriors & Tigers at Co-op Place where the Warriors got out to 2-0, 3-1 & 4-3 leads respectively before the Tigers were able to comeback twice down 3-1 and 4-3 as Oasiz Wiesblatt scored twice, Tyler Mackenzie and Bogdans Hodass all found the back of the end to force overtime and eventually a shootout where Jagger Firkus and Andrew Basha would make it 1-1 while Denton Mateychuk would score the winner in Round 3.
VS MOOSE JAW: It's the 2nd of four games this season between the Warriors & Tigers, and the 2ndof back to back games against the Warriors as the Tigers. Oasiz Wiesblatt lead the way for the Tigers with two goals Friday night at Co-op Place
The 2021-22 season the Tigers go 0-2-2 in their four meetings with the Warriors. Tigers defenceman Pasha Bocharov lead the way in scoring for the Tigers with 4 assists split with his time in Medicine Hat & Saskatoon. MacNeil's Navy: The Tigers announced their leadership group for the 2022-23 WHL Season, Owen MacNeil was named the 39th Captain in Tigers history, while Rhett Parsons, Dru Krebs, Tyler MacKenzie & Dallon Melin will all wear alternate captain's A's on their jerseys this season.
Smith, Shane Smith: Tigers Rookie Forward Shane Smith, leads all Tiger rookies in scoring with 7 points (5 goals, 2 assist), while the Cessford, AB product is 10th in WHL Rookie Scoring and 2nd in Rookie goals this season.
