Tri-City Americans News Release
The Tri-City Americans will head to Spokane today to take on the Chiefs as both teams look to get back into the win column.
This will be the second meeting between the two teams in their 11 game season series. They previously met on October 15th when the Americans took a 4-1 victory. Tomas Suchanek played in net, turning aside a season-high 44 of 45 shots faced. Ethan Ernst led the Americans that night with a pair of goals. Lemonnier and Mechura also scored for Tri-City. That game was the first of nine straight losses for the Chiefs (0-8-0-1). Both teams are looking to get back in the win column tonight as the Americans have lost their past two.

Everett scored three first period goals over a four minute span to take a 3-0 lead. Tri-City was down 4-0 by the middle of the game when Deagan McMillan scored to put them on the board. 15-year-old affiliate player Cash Koch quickly followed with a highlight reel goal for the Americans, his first WHL point. Tyson Greenway added one last goal but Tri-City was unable to find the tying marker. Tomas Suchanek played in net as the Americans outshot Everett 28-26.
With two assists last night, Lukas Dragicevic extends his point streak to 11 games with 3 goals and 13 assists over that period. He's now Tri-City's points leader.
