ESTERO, Fla. - After a thrilling come-from-behind victory on Friday night, the Florida Everblades (4-3-2-0, 10 pts.) aim for a weekend sweep of the Jacksonville Icemen (7-3-0-0, 14 pts.) on Saturday night, the fourth of five meetings in 13 days between the two teams. The 'Blades have not lost in regulation since Oct. 26 and would push their unbeaten streak to five with a win.

LAST TIME OUT

Florida orchestrated its best comeback of the season to date, scoring three times in a 1:59 span in the final five minutes of regulation on Friday to overcome a 2-1 deficit in a 4-2 victory over Jacksonville at Hertz Arena. Josh Wesley scored on the power play with 3:25 left in the game to tie the score at two, and Joe Cox found the back of the net just 19 seconds later to give the Everblades the lead for good. Steven Lorentz assisted on Cox's go-ahead goal and potted an empty-netter for the final margin of victory. Jamie Phillips made 27 saves to earn his fourth win.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Adam Gilmour (FLA) - The Hanover, Massachusetts, native posted his first goal and first career ECHL multi-point game on Friday night with a goal and assist. His power-play goal started a four-goal flurry in the third. Gilmour started the season on loan to the American Hockey League's Springfield Thunderbirds.

Tyson Fawcett (JAX) - The Barrie, Ontario, native registered his first goal of the season on Friday, a shorthanded tally that gave Jacksonville a short-lived 2-1 lead in the third period. Fawcett posted 23 points on eight goals and 15 assists in 54 games for the Icemen last season.

KEY NOTES

Lorentz (1g, 1a), Gilmour (1g, 1a), and Nathan Perkovich (2a) all recorded multi-point games in Friday's win. Gilmour's and Perkovich's multi-point efforts were the first of their ECHL careers.

Florida has outshot its opponent in six of its nine games this season and held a 38-29 edge in shots on goal in the series opener. The Everblades' 38 shots were the most they've fired since they posted 41 shots on goal in the second game of the season, a 3-2 win over Newfoundland on Oct. 13. Florida is 4-2-0-0 when it holds the edge in shots on goal.

Friday's win was the 'Blades first this season when trailing after two periods. Florida held a 15-5 edge in shots on goal in the third and scored a season-high four goals in the third period, a season-high for any period, on the way to the come-from-behind victory.

Jacksonville is in the midst of a stretch of four games in five days and has already played three times in four days entering Saturday night. Prior to dropping the opener to the 'Blades on Friday, the Icemen fell to the Orlando Solar Bears on Tuesday before earning a 4-1 win over the South Carolina Stingrays on Thursday morning.

The Everblades' power play has converted five times over the last three games and struck for two more goals on Friday night against Jacksonville, the second straight game with a pair of tallies on the man advantage. Prior to this three-game stretch, Florida ranked 21st in the league on the power play at 11.8 percent (2-for-17). With the 5-for-14 stretch since last Friday, the Everblades have catapulted 19 spots to second in the league at 22.6 percent.

Florida's penalty kill success on home ice continued on Friday night as the 'Blades held Jacksonville scoreless on three power plays. Through four home contests, the Everblades have yielded just one power-play goal and have a penalty kill success rate of 94.1 percent (16-for-17). Florida has killed off 12 straight penalties on home ice dating back to Oct. 20 against the Norfolk Admirals.

The Everblades have yet to lose in regulation against Jacksonville since it joined the South Division last season after relocating from Evansville, Indiana. Florida did not play the Icemen while they were based in Indiana from 2012-16 but boasted a 13-0-1-0 record in 14 matchups with Jacksonville last season. The Everblades are 15-0-2-0 all-time against the Icemen.

Everblades goaltender Jamie Phillips has not allowed more than two goals in any of his five starts this season, a streak that continued in Friday's weekend opener. After playing 16 games for Jacksonville last season, Phillips has posted a 4-1-0-0 record in five starts for Florida this season, boasting the fourth-best goals-against-average in the ECHL (1.80) and the fifth-best save percentage (.929).
