SOUTHAVEN, MS --- The Mississippi RiverKings continue a three-game weekend swing in action tonight against the Oilers in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Game time for tonight's game is 7:35 PM from the BOK Center. Broadcast coverage is on Sports 56, WHBQ-AM with pre-game coverage at 7:20 PM. Media Coordinator Bob Bakken is on the call for tonight's game.

RIVERKINGS RECAP: Mississippi lost an overtime battle with the PrairieThunder in Bloomington 4-3 last night in Illinois. Jason Deleurme scored the game-winning goal with 1:25 remaining in the overtime period for the PrairieThunder. RiverKings ‚¬â„¢ forward Brennan Sarazin led the offense with a shorthanded goal and added an assist for a two-point night. Matt Boyd and Derek Landmesser also scored power play goals for the RiverKings. Goaltender Larry Sterling made a season-high 39 saves in the effort, as his season record fell to 10-9-3. Mississippi was outshot 43-19 in the game.

DUMONT PLAYS RIVERKINGS GAME 300 TONIGHT: Veteran forward Louis Dumont is expected to play in his 300th game as a member of the RiverKings tonight in Tulsa. Dumont has been with the RiverKings since the 2006-07 season and last year reached 1,000 career professional games. His career highs with the RiverKings came in the 2008-09 season, when he scored 25 goals and 40 assists for 65 points. That season, he added three goals and ten points in 12 playoff games, helping take Mississippi to the Northern Conference finals. In his pro career, Dumont has played in 1,094 games, has scored 1,168 points (422 goals, 746 assists) and has collected 1,298 penalty minutes.

PLAYER NOTES: R.G. Flath scored a goal in his 200th career pro contest last Saturday night vs. Tulsa. In 202 games, Flath has 52 goals and 108 points, including 12 goals this season with the RiverKings. Andrew Lackner is three points short of 100 career pro points, now at 21 goals and 76 assists for his pro career. Jeff Christian and Lackner both played in Tulsa prior to their arrival in Mississippi. They were teammates in the 2007-08 year with the Oilers and Christian played in Tulsa the following season, 2008-09, as Lackner came to the RiverKings. Louis Dumont is tied for the CHL lead for shorthanded goals scored with four. Dumont is also tied for second in the CHL for shootout goals with three. Matt Summers is tied for the CHL lead in power play goals scored with 11. Nathan Lutz ranks in a tie for third in the CHL for power play assists with 20, which leads all CHL defensemen. He leads all CHL defensemen for points this season at 41 and assists by a blue-liner at 31. Derek Landmesser ranks tenth in the CHL for defenseman points at 29 Landmesser ‚¬â„¢s 16 power play assists places him third in the category for blue-liners. Russell Smith ranks fifth in the CHL for minor penalties with 38. He has taken over the RiverKings lead for penalty minutes with 131, which puts him third among CHL defensemen. Brennan Sarazin moved into the top five in the CHL for shooting percentage at .222 (six goals, 27 shots). Chris Auger leads the CHL for shorthanded goals by a rookie at three and is tied for third in plus-minus by a first-year player at +9. Goaltender Alexander Pechurskiy ranks seventh in the CHL for goals-against-average at 2.66.

TEAM NOTES: Mississippi leads the CHL for penalty minutes (1178), game misconducts (14), and is tied for the league lead in match penalties at one. Mississippi ‚¬â„¢s 25.06 penalty minute average per game is the highest in the CHL. The RiverKings also lead the CHL in shorthanded goals scored at 12, with number 12 coming last night from Brennan Sarazin.

MISSISSIPPI VS. TULSA: The RiverKings are 2-2-1 against the Oilers this season, with Mississippi ‚¬â„¢s last win coming last Friday night 4-3 in overtime. In the team ‚¬â„¢s last meeting, Tulsa prevailed at the DeSoto Civic Center 5-3 last Saturday evening.
