Tonight
The Saskatoon Blades (11-7-1-0) and Red Deer Rebels (14-7-1-0) square off for the first time since January 8th, 2020 - a stretch of 688 days. This is the first of six meetings between the two this season.
Their next contest will come December 28th at SaskTel Centre, before squaring off four times in February and March.
Saskatoon comes into the contest dropping three straight, including back-to-back shutout losses most recently to the Winnipeg ICE and the Swift Current Broncos.
This is Saskatoon's fifth game as part of nine consecutive contests away from home. Following tonight's battle in Red Deer, the boys will head to Calgary for an afternoon contest against the Hitmen at Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday, followed by a date with the Edmonton Oil Kings at Rogers Place on Sunday.
This is also Saskatoon's second 'three-in-three' this month, following their trip through Manitoba two weeks ago when the Blades went 1-2-0-0.
On the Record
Head coach Brennan Sonne
Captain Aidan De La Gorgendiere & alternate captain Kyle Crnkovic
