VS BRANDON: This is first of six meetings this season between the Wheat Kings and the Tigers. Tonight will also mark the first time these two teams have met since February 7th, 2020. Brandon took that contest 3-2 in overtime. Over the last five seasons the Tigers hold a 3-5-0-0 record against the Wheat Kings and have one win at Westoba Place in that time. Brandon has a record of 8-10-0-0 and is currently four points ahead of the Tigers in the Eastern Division standings.

LAST GAME: The Tigers wrapped up their mini two game home stand on Saturday, falling to Connor Bedard and the Regina Pats by a score of 6-2. Lukas Svejkovsky opened the scoring for the Tabbies potting his team leading ninth goal of the season. Ashton Ferster was able bang home a Daniel Baker rebound for his 5th goal of the season. Tigers netminder Garin Bjorklund made 29 saves in the loss.
MILESTONES: Lukas Svejkovsky recently played his 150th career WHL game. The Pittsburgh Penguins draft pick has 108 points (47G, 61A) and is only 3 goals shy of his 50th career goal. Corson Hopwo is closing in on his 100th career WHL point. The forward from Duncan, BC has caught fire of late, scoring in 6 of his last 9 appearances. Dru Krebs is only four games away from his 100th career WHL game.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Dru Krebs is a solid stay at home defenceman that isn't afraid to activate off the back end and help out the offense whenever possible. The Washington Capitals prospect has great vision and can often spring forwards with a stretch pass. Dru has 26 career points through 96 games, averaging .25 points per game throughout his career. The 6'0 blue-liner is a fierce competitor willing to sacrifice his body for his team
