Prince Albert, Sask. - The Prince Albert Raiders will be spreading holiday cheer when the calendar turns the page to December.
The Raiders will play five home games in prior to the holiday break, beginning on Friday, December 3 when the Regina Pats come to town. On that night, the Raiders along with the Car Guys at Mann-Northway Chevrolet Buick GMC and Pet Planet are helping to Pack The Pick-Up in support of the Prince Albert SPCA. Bring in your donations of pet food to the game for the Prince Albert SPCA and you'll be entered to win a detailing package courtesy of the Car Guys at Mann-Northway.
Santa Anonymous Night presented by The Optimist Club of Prince Albert returns to the Art Hauser Centre on Tuesday, December 7 against the Swift Current Broncos. Fans are asked to bring in toys for donation to the game that will be given to the Salvation Army's Christmas Hampers. This is the 60th consecutive year The Optimist Club of Prince Albert has organized the Santa Anonymous program. Last year, the program helped approximately 600 kids aged 12 and under.
The Raiders will be hosting their Toque & Mitten Toss Game presented by Canadian Tire on Saturday, December 11. Fans can bring in toques and mitts to throw onto the ice when the Raiders score their first goal of the game when the Calgary Hitmen make their first trip to the Art Hauser Centre this season. Fans are asked to wrap their toques and mitts in a plastic bag before throwing them onto the ice.
Tuesday, December 14 marks another Community Cares Fundraising Night for the Raiders. When purchasing your tickets online, $5 from every ticket sold for the game against the Winnipeg ICE will be donated to a local organization when using the corresponding promo code. Finally, the home schedule before the holiday break wraps up on Friday, December 17 when the Saskatoon Blades visit on a night presented by Lakeland Ford. The night will feature the grand finale of Lakeland Ford's 50K Giveaway. The three finalists will be facing off for a chance to win the prize. Not in the finals? There's still a chance to win! The Raiders and Lakeland Ford will be holding a draw on the CHL App from Wednesday, December 15 at 9 a.m. CST to Thursday, December 16 at Noon CST for three lucky fans. Not only will they win tickets to the game on December 17, but they will be paired with a finalist and win 10 per cent of their prize.
Game time for each game is 7 p.m. CST. Tickets for all of the Raiders' games are available in the Raiders Office during working hours and at SaskTix.ca any time.
