
'Gades Winning Streak Ends at Five

Richmond Renegades News Release
The Richmond Renegades are 6-6 after going 2-1 on the road last week. The âGades won five in a row to climb to a game over .500 for the first time this season before a one goal loss at Atlantic City. The âGades finish a six game road trip Friday and return home to host Northeast Division rivals Trenton and Atlantic City Saturday and Sunday.

Friday, November 8 @ Pee Dee 7:30 PM
GAME NOTES: The first of two meetings and the âGades only visit to Florence, SC this season. Clubs met three times last season, the âGades won two of three and split their two visits to Pee Dee. The âGades are 1-1 vs. Southeast Division clubs this season. Pride begins the week in first place in the Southeast.
Saturday, November 9 vs. Trenton 7:35 PM
GAME NOTES: The fourth of nine meetings and the second of four here. The âGades are 1-2 vs. the Titans, 0-1 here. Alex Matieroukine and Lars Pettersen have four points each vs. the Titans. Adam Edinger has five points vs. the âGades.
Sunday, November 10 vs. Atlantic City 5:05 PM
GAME NOTES: The third of eight meetings and the first of four here. âGades are 0-2 against the Bullies despite holding Atlantic City to 46 shots in two games. Kevin Colley and Scott Matzka each have four points vs. Richmond. No âGade has more than one point vs. the Bullies. Richmond was 4-0 vs. the Bullies at home last season. Three of the four games were decided by one goal, two went into overtime.

Friday, November 1 @ Trenton WIN 5-3
GAME NOTES: The âGades earned their first win vs. the Titans in three tries. Richmond erupted for three third period goals to snap a 2-2 tie. Lars Pettersen scored in the first minute of the third period to put the âGades ahead to stay. Richard Pitirri scored the game-winner shorthanded. Pettersen and Alex Matieroukine had a goal and an assist.
Sunday, November 3 @ Reading WIN 6-5 (SO)
GAME NOTES: The âGades won their fifth straight and earned their first shootout win of the season. The âGades had three different leads and trailed once. Lars Pettersen scored the game-winning goal in the shootout. Marc Magliarditi stopped all five Royals. Nick Lent scored two goals. Jon Zion and Brad Church had a goal and assist.
Monday, November 4 @ Atlantic City LOSS 3-2
GAME NOTES: The âGades five game winning streak ended despite holding the Bullies to 15 shots on goal. Richmond jumped out to a two goal lead in the first five minutes on goals by David Brosseau and Jamie Herrington. The Bullies rallied back with a goal in each period. Kevin Colley had two goals and an assist for the Bullies.
âGADES NOTES: The 15 shots allowed by the âGades Monday is the lowest surrendered by Richmond since November 28, 1998 when the âGades held the Johnstown Chiefs to 14 shots and lost 3-2. David Brosseau and Jamie Herrington have points in three straight games. Marc Magliarditi now has 116 career wins and is sixth in ECHL history. Magliarditi has started three straight games. The âGades are 4-0 in overtime this season. Richmond wraps up a six game road trip and a stretch of 10 of their first 13 games on the road Friday. The âGades then play four straight, seven of their next eight, and 10 of their next 12 games at home. Richmond's stretch of 18 straight penalty kills ended Sunday. The âGades shootout win over Reading was their first at the Sovereign Center (they were 0-2-1 last year). Going back to last season the âGades and Royals have played three straight overtime games. Seven players on the 'Gades roster were not in the opening night lineup. The âGades have nine former NHL draft picks on the club. Richmond has eight rookies on the club. The âGades six game winning goals have been scored by five different players.
