Tulsa Oilers News Release
Rally Time: The Tulsa Oilers rally with Cox Communications this weekend as the first 1,000 fans at Friday's 7:35 p.m. game with the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs will receive a free Oilers rally towel, courtesy of Cox Communications. After the final road game of the season at Memphis Saturday night at 7:05 (KMMY FM 97.1), the Oilers wrap up the regular season Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. That will be the Oilers Kids Day game.
Thirsty?: KMOD will help Oiler fans quench their thirst on Friday night. KMOD will be offering Budweiser and Bud Light for just $1.97.
Kids Day: Sunday's season finale will get underway with a variety of kids day activities getting underway at noon. There will be games geared toward kids, clowns and other kid oriented activities in the West lobby of the Tulsa Convention Center starting at noon.
Looking Back: The Oilers had a very busy week with four games last week. They dropped a hard fought 4-3 decision to Colorado, then had a three game road trip. Austin overcame a 2-0 deficit and beat the Oilers 5-2. On Saturday, the Oilers tried to rally from a 3-0 lead and cut the lead to 3-2 before falling to the Bossier- Shreveport Mudbugs 7-2. In spite of being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, the Oilers had a playoff like game on Sunday in a 5-4 overtime loss at Wichita.
Tickets Here: Oiler tickets are available at all Carson Attraction outlets, by phone at (918) 584- 2000, or the Oilers office. Other information is available by calling the Oilers at (918) 632-7825.
