BUGS CRUISE IN MEMPHIS, 6-1 - On Tuesday night, the Mudbugs made their final trip of the season to the DeSoto Civic Center and dominated the Memphis RiverKings, 6-1. The win was their seventh of the year in ten games against Memphis.

WICHITA & VOLP STOP THE BUGS - On Friday night, the Wichita Thunder got 43 saves from goaltender Jon Volp and two third period goals to defeat the Mudbugs 2-1 in front of 6,623 fans at the CenturyTel Center.

SLIDING PAST THE OILERS - Behind three first period goals and five points from Blair Manning, the Mudbugs defeated the Tulsa Oilers 7-2 in front of 7,196 fans at the CenturyTel Center on Saturday night.

MUDBUGS STARS OF THE WEEK Milan Vodrazka - Scored three goals this week, including two in the second period versus Tulsa

David Cacciola - Made a career-high 43 saves on Tuesday and now has at least 30 saves in his last 13 starts

Blair Manning - Tied a Mudbugs record with a five-point game on Saturday, his second of the year

MUDBUGS IN THE COMMUNITY Wednesday March 22nd - March for Meals on Wheels - Scott Sheppard and Blair Manning will be marching with the Caddo Council on Aging starting at the Caddo Parish Courthouse in Shreveport from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m..

POWER PLAY AT BUFFALO WILD WINGS ON WEDNESDAY- This Wednesday, the final regular season edition of "Power Play with Scott Muscutt" will take place at 6:00 p.m. from Buffalo Wild Wings.

MUDBUGS NOTES - Mudbugs goaltender David Cacciola has made eleven straight starts and is 7-2-2 in that span..... With two more wins, the Mudbugs will have their sixth 40-win campaign in their nine-year history..... With his 30th goal on Saturday, Brett Smith joins Scott Sheppard as the first Mudbugs' thirty-goal teammates since 2001 (Rupnow & Henry).

LUPUL & CARROLL EARN ALL-CHL HONORS - The Central Hockey League today announced the 2005-06 CHL All-Rookie Team and All-CHL team which saw the Mudbugs represented on both. Defenseman Dale Lupul was selected to the All-Rookie Team and goaltender Ken Carroll was named to the All-CHL team. The voting was among CHL head coaches.

MUDBUGS IN THE PLAYOFFS - The Mudbugs have won their third straight Northeast Division title and will appear in the playoffs for the eighth time in their nine-year history. If the playoffs began today, the Mudbugs would play Wichita for the third straight postseason.

THIS WEEK - This week, the Mudbugs will conclude their regular season with three games, including two at home against the Memphis RiverKings at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesday, Kitchen Concepts invites all fans to another "Two Dollar Tuesday" with bronze level seats available for just $2. Copeland's Restaurant then invites fans to the regular season home finale on Thursday against the RiverKings. On Friday night, the Mudbugs will play their final regular season game of the year at 7:35 p.m. at the Tulsa Convention Center against the Tulsa Oilers.
