Youngstown SteelHounds News Release
The SteelHounds begin their final week of their inaugural season on Wednesday night with the first of three straight games versus the Fort Worth Brahmas. The teams have met five times this season with Youngstown winning all five games. Jeff Christian has 15 points (6-9=15) in the five games versus the Brahmas and David St. Germain is 4-0 with a 1.95 goals against average. The three games will mark the end of the season fro both Youngstown and Fort Worth who both have been eliminated from playoff contention. All games can be heard on ESPN Radio- 1240, The Fan and on the Hounds Webcast accessible through www.steelhounds.com. "Countdown to Face-Off" begins 15 minutes prior to face-off.

Eagles Soar In The Mahoning Valley
The CHL's best team made their only visit to the Mahoning Valley this past weekend and flexed their muscles to the tune of two victories. On Friday, Paulo Colaiacovo brought his âA' game notching 31 saves en route to his second shutout against the Hounds in three games. The final score was 3-0. The Eagles took the measure again on Saturday night, this time by a final score of 3-1. Darryl Lloyd scored the only goal for Youngstown in the two games. The story of the weekend was Youngstown's struggles with the power play failing to convert on 21 chances. Conversely, the Eagles scored twice on 13 chances. Colorado won the season series 4-0 outscoring the Hounds 13-4 in the four games.
Home Struggles Continue
The Hounds have gone 10 games with a win on home ice despite playing competitive games versus some of the CHL's top teams. The last victory in the Chevrolet Centre was a 2-1 triumph over Odessa on January 21st. Since then, the Hounds have dropped series' to Memphis, Bossier-Shreveport, Austin and Colorado. Over the 10 game struggle, Youngstown has been outscored 46-24 but has lost four of the 10 games by one goal. Youngstown's home record of 9-18-2 is the second fewest wins in the league on home ice (Fort Worth has eight wins).
Ladies Night
Wednesday's game for the Hounds versus the Fort Worth Brahmas will be the first-ever "Ladies Night" at the Chevrolet Centre. All ladies receive $2.00 off a ticket $10.00 of value or higher. Following the game, there will be a Bachelor's Auction hosted by WKBN - 27 First News' Niki Weirich. Darryl Lloyd, J.R. Holmes, Sam Miller, Kelly Sickavish, Ben Manny and Chris Shaffer will all be auctioned off for a date (including limo ride courtesy of FAB Limousines and dinner courtesy of Oscar's). A portion of the proceeds form the auction will go towards Breast Cancer Awareness. Mums The Word Florist and LaBella Spalon are also jumping on board donating flowers and salon treatment to the lucky winners.
Last Chance To Meet With The Players
The SteelHounds will several opportunities to get up close and personal with the team one last time before the end of the season including on Friday night after the game with a free skate and on Saturday night following the game with an on-ice autograph session. Fans wishing to participate in Friday's night skate must bring their own skates.
