Freedom's Tuesday Night Game Washed Out

FLORENCE, KY - Due to the excessive rain in Northern Kentucky, the Florence Freedom game against the Kalamazoo Kings on Tuesday, August 4 has been postponed.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader with two 7-inning games on Wednesday, August 5 starting at 5:35 p.m.
The promotions scheduled for the August 4 date have also been pushed back to Wednesday night including Notre Dame Academy "Night", and entertainment from Reggy the Purple Party Dude.
Fans who have purchased Notre Dame Academy packages online can pick-up their tickets to the game at the third base gate entrance next to the Bruster's Ice Cream Birthday Bash Area. Vouchers for Notre Dame's Bobblenuns will be handed out at the gate on Wedensday to be redeemed at 8:00 p.m. on the third base main concourse.
Fans who cannot attend Wednesday night's game can redeem their receipts for any future 2009 Freedom game and pick up their bobblenuns in the Bank of Kentucky Team Shop any time the rest of the season.
To add to the fun for Wednesday, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a 2009 Florence Freedom trading card set. Gates open at 4:35 p.m.
