North Charleston, SC -The South Carolina Stingrays face off against the Kalamazoo Wings tonight at 7:05 p.m. at North Charleston Coliseum. Tonight is the final meeting between the two teams this season. The Stingrays earned a 3-0 shutout win over the Wings last night.
Tonight is FREE PARKING and Tailgate Saturday! Bring the food, bring the music, bring the FUN! The weekend continues on Sunday as the Stingrays host the Gwinnett Gladiators at a special start time of 12:30 p.m. for Dog Days of Winter with Pet Helpers. Fans can bring their dogs to the matinee contest for only $5 with all the proceeds going towards Pet Helpers. Sunday is also Kid's Day featuring $5 kid's tickets. It is also Adopt-a-Dog Sunday with Camp Bow Wow. Be sure to stop by their table on the main concourse to see the Adoptable Dog of the Night. Ticket packages and individual tickets are on sale now.
Note of the Night: With a goal last night, Stingrays rookie Jake Hauswirth has three tallies in his last four games and seven points (4g, 3a) in his last six contests.
Standing Tall Stingrays goaltender Shane Connelly earned his first professional shutout last night in a 3-0 Stingrays victory over the Wings. Connelly is 3-0-1 with the Stingrays and has a 2.52 goals-against average in his last five games.
Welcome to the Stingrays Forward Darren Reid marked his Stingrays debut with a goal last night and now has a goal and two assists in two ECHL games.
