Goaltender Mike Morrison Recalled to Albany

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush in coordination with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced that goaltender Mike Morrison has been recalled to Everblades affiliate Albany of the American Hockey League and goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu has been activated off the injured list.

Goaltender Mike Morrison has been recalled to the Albany River Rats. The recall marks the second for Morrison this season. He has not appeared in a game with the River Rats this season.

Morrison, 30, has appeared in 22 games with the Everblades this season. The Medford, Massachusetts native has posted a record of 9-10-3 with Florida with a 2.89 goals against average and.900 save percentage.

Goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu has been activated off the three-day injured list. Beckford-Tseu has posted two shutouts and a record of 4-3-1 with the Everblades and a 2.83 goals against average and a.910 save percentage. The Toronto, Ontario native has appeared in six games in the American Hockey League with the Rochester Americans. He is 0-4-0 with a 4.66 goals against average and a.870 save percentage.

The Everblades finish off their month-long road trip tomorrow night in Trenton, New Jersey against the Devils. Florida and Trenton will play in Florida's Germain Arena on Wednesday, January 27, Friday, January 29 and Saturday, January 30.
