Frazer McLaren One Of 12 Former Winterhawks On NHL Rosters

Former Portland Winterhawks forward Frazer McLaren made his NHL debut this week with the San Jose Sharks, making him the 101st former Winterhawk to make it to the NHL. McLaren made an immediate impact for the Sharks, picking up an assist in his NHL debut Saturday at Anaheim in a 4-1 Sharks win.

McLaren played 270 games for Portland from 2003-2007, registering 41 goals and 29 assists for 70 points, and was captain of the 2006-07 and 2007-08 teams until being traded to Moose Jaw.

He's one of 12 former Winterhawks who have opened the season on NHL rosters. The complete list is as follows:
