Chilliwack Bruins News Release
The Chilliwack Bruins announced today that they have signed 17 year old defenseman / forward Jesse Pauls to a standard Western Hockey League contract. Prior to this season Pauls attended the Bruins training camp before beginning the season with the British Columbia Hockey League's Surrey Eagles.
Pauls, who is the first Chilliwack resident to sign with the Bruins spent last season with the Notre Dame Hounds of the Saskatchewan Midget Hockey League where he scored eight goals and 30 assists in 38 regular season games. He was also named top defensive player at the Telus Cup National Midget Championships where the Hounds captured the gold medal.
Pauls will join the Bruins immediately.
