Bruins Deal With Medicine Hat
The Chilliwack Bruins announced today that they have acquired 20 year old forward Colton Grant from the Medicine Hat Tigers in exchange for a sixth round pick in the 2010 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Grant, who was originally selected by the Tri City Americans with the 22nd overall pick in the 2004 WHL Bantam Draft has spent his entire playing career with the Tigers, scoring 28 goals and 39 assists in 211 games. Grant was a member of the Tigers team that captured the 2007 WHL Championship.
"Colton is a character player who brings a great deal of winning experience to our club," said Bruins General Manager and Head Coach Marc Habscheid. "He's proven to be very good penalty killer in our league and he is the type of player that will help us build a solid foundation here."

Family Fun Day October 12th When Your Chilliwack Bruins Take On The Vancouver Giants
Your Chilliwack Bruins take on the Vancouver Giants on Thanksgiving Monday 2pm at Prospera Centre.
This game marks the first of the Bruins Family Fun Days brought to you by Saputo. There will be lots for the kids to do including a bouncy castles and games by Fraser Valley Party Rentals,face painters as well as Tiara Food and Beverage will be offering $1 hot dogs and pop. Saputo will also be giving away prize packs to various kids in attendance that will include Movie dvd, Chocolate milk, Cheese heads, Sunny D, Yogurt and a T-Shirt. As well as 500 Ultimate Chocolate Milks will be handed out to kids at the end of the game.
Monday's game also marks the first post game Skate With The Bruins presented by Hub International Barton's Insurance and Save On Foods so don't forget your skates!
