
Fraser and Berube Arrive in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. - Defenseman Mark Fraser has been assigned to Albany for conditioning purposes by the New Jersey Devils, while Jean-Sebastien Berube has been reassigned by New Jersey from Trenton (ECHL) to Albany. The announcement was made by Albany General Manager Chris Lamoriello.
Fraser, 24, began the season in the NHL and played four games. He was placed on the long-term injury reserve on Oct. 28, missing 32 games between Oct. 15 and Dec. 29. The Ottawa, Ontario native has logged 228 career AHL games, posting 44 points with five goals and 39 assists. His last season with the Devils' top developmental team came in 2008-09 when he played 74 games and had 17 points, including three goals and 14 assists. Last season, Fraser played the entire season in the NHL. He had six points - three goals and three assists - in 61 games. He was selected by the Devils, 84th overall in 2005
Berube, 20, has played 26 games for Trenton, tallying 18 points with eight goals and 10 assists. During last season's Calder Cup Playoffs, he made his professional debut with Lowell and played in one game. Prior to joining the Devils, the Matane, Quebec native played 232 games during a four-year span for Rouyn-Noranda of the QMJHL. He had 105 points with 54 goals and 51 assists. Berube was drafted by New Jersey, 205th overall in 2008.
The Devils travel to Binghamton tonight for a 6:05 p.m. contest.
